Our Process Is Simple.
We leave everything looking factory. Your existing Diesel Particulate Filter, or DPF (and SCR canister if applicable) are left in place and all core material is removed. This leaves a free-flowing exhaust that looks stock to the eye. The Exhaust Gas Recirculation system (EGR) is left mostly intact with the sensors unplugged and exhaust flow to the intake is blocked by installing blocker plates. EGR cooler and valve are left in place. The last and most important step is tuning. Tuning is done to “fool” the computer into thinking that these systems are still functioning properly, meaning you will no longer have regeneration, reduced power mode due to problematic emissions systems and in the case of trucks using diesel exhaust fluid, NO MORE DEF!
More Horsepower.
At the request of you, our customer, horsepower can be added during the tuning procedure. Commonly, up to a safe level of 20% increase in horsepower over stock. Tuning has a 30 day satisfaction guarantee, with a free re-tune being offered within that time period. Alongside the aforementioned benefits, you will also experience gains in torque and fuel economy, commonly, 2-3 loaded MPG.
